  • Yes, chiropractic care for babies and children is safe when performed by a qualified chiropractor trained in paediatric care. Chiropractors use gentle, specific techniques appropriate for a child’s age and development.

The Safer Care Victoria Review (2019-2020) showed that out of 2048 submissions:

    • 99.7% of parents who had taken their child to a chiropractor reported a positive experience.

    • 98% of parents noted that their child improved after chiropractic care.

    • Over 99% of cases had no reported adverse events.

  • Chiropractors use very gentle pressure, often no more than the pressure used to test the ripeness of a tomato. The techniques are tailored to the child’s size, age, and needs, and adjustments may involve the spine, neck, and extremities to improve nervous system function.

  • A dysfunctional nervous system can be caused by various types of stress that affect the body’s ability to adapt and function optimally. From maternal stress, birth trauma and simply navigating the world to our chemical load, wear and tear and our thoughts.

  • You are never too young to start care and you are never too old to benefit. The best time to start care is at birth and the next best time is NOW!

  • The frequency of chiropractic visits varies based on the individuals specific needs and health concerns. This frequency will be determined after your initial consultation following a health history and neuro-spinal assessment.
